Custom Uniform Production
An American brand of basketball shoes, athletic, casual, and style clothing produced by Nike. Founded in Chicago, Air Jordan was created for Hall of Fame basketball player and six-time NBA Finals MVP Michael Jordan during his time with the Chicago Bulls.
THE PROJECT
6 of the top high schools from all over the US battled it out at the 1st annual Concord Classic. A collaboration between Jordan Brand and House of Hoops to celebrate the re release of arguably one of the best basketball shoes ever created.
THE CHALLENGE
To match the theme of ’95-96 (the year of the shoe's initial release) NJS was tasked with taking retro NBA team designs and connecting them to the city from which the school is from. We utilized retro mesh and overall classic uniform construction to bring the modern designs to life.
